While my darling nephew was here, he was in this ‘I only want mummy phrase’. Especially when he was tired or cranky HE ONLY WANTS MUMMY! Which I’m sure is very flattering and oh so very very tiring for his mummy.
Its also cute to watch that when his mummy engages in a conversation with you, he’ll start to go “errr errrr, ahhh ahhh” to indicate that, “HEY MUMMY! YOUR ATTENTION NEEDS TO BE REFOCUSED BACK TO ME!”
I noticed that when his daddy comes over to pat his mummy’s head or share an intimate moment, he’ll try and weasel his way between them and announce his existence without much inhabitation. More like a full fledged shriiiiiiieeeeek actually.
So today I was only slightly amused when his mum sent me a text saying that she kissed and hugged his bear bear and it prompted him to snatch the bear away and throw it on the floor.
Said Bedtime bear
Oh my little darling you have so much to learn about curbing jealousy and sharing.
Other times though, he has no problems giving away affectionate kisses, ‘sharing’ his pacifier, sharing his food. He’s like little Mr Sharity elephant.
You know that little Mascot we were introduced to in primary school?, to teach us how to share.
I had a nice walk with E and Charlie Bear today, and oh boy that little bear has grown so big and cute. All that waving excitedly, (sometimes with both hands too), lovely adorable cackling smiles and happy little-baby-trying-to-talk noises. He’s such a delicious little muffin!
He loves to wave, smiled (almost) non stop at me for 4 miles and kept making all these cute lil noises. There is something about him that makes me feel so happy every time I spend time with him. He’s just so happy, peaceful and calm. He’s no longer a baby but a (really adorable) bubbling little toddler.
I think he’s so happy all the time because his parents are so much in love with each other and lovely him so dearly. They have such a happy and loving little family, that I think Charlie GLOWS with that love. He’s so trusting with his huge baby eyes and so happy to be bouncing and dishing out smiles to everyone! E is the kind of mother (very hands on, protective but not overly) I want to be, when I have a child myself. She’s so chill and relaxed with him, adores him completely but yet doesn’t stifle him by being too afraid to let him just be a kid.
Oh I’m also happy today for my successful bread making.
My little bread rolls
Spinach and ricotta cheese rolls that BURST!
My version of a calzone (With Pepperoni and Mozzarella inside!)
He’s my neighbor and he’s 9 months old. He’s cute and cuddly like a teddy bear. After a few months, he still remembers me. No crying when I carried him! YAY!
He gave me a nice kiss/lick on the cheek and was happy to cuddle and snuggle on my lap. *melts*
He’s TOO cute. Made me very happy. Helps that I get along well with his mummy who’s a very sweet lady. We usually go for walks together with the-royal-cutepie. She’s married to an Asian man. A reverse of me and Kris. 🙂 We’re also similar in many ways, most importantly we’re regular happy people and love our families very much.
I got lots of cute smiles/giggles and bear like laughs from the little one, so I’m grateful for that today!
Bought him a little CNY suit from Singapore.
Same one as the one I bought for baby Ice, doesn’t Charlie Bear look like a little charmer here? He’s a very happy kid.
